Erik is an artist and a photographic educator. He has a tremendous depth of personal and professional experience and has also been a photographic educator at Spokane Falls Community College since 1998 where he teaches full time.
Beyond his professional background, Erik also has a solid academic foundation. He earned his MFA in 2014 from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA, his BA in 1991 from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA and his AAS in 1989 from Spokane Falls Community College.
With a relentless pursuit and deep passion for the medium of photography, he continues pushing artistic boundaries with his personal and commissioned fine art projects. Erik’s current work explores ideas of identity, memory and the connection to the people and objects of our past.
